Minematters Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are committed to making mental health a universal priority for the students. We believe that compassion and education transform lives. This is why our organization has launched different initiatives. Pathway to Success is also a part of the initiatives. We support students and their communities to achieve academic and emotional success.

What We Offer in Our Pathway to Success Initiative?

The School Initiative makes a lasting impact on the lives of students in Shreveport. Our organization provides diverse opportunities to students from elementary to middle school. 

The Pathway to Success program provides a comprehensive, holistic approach to student development. Here’s what students will gain from our programs: 

Students are taught essential leadership skills to help them succeed in both school and future life. Advanced courses are offered to prepare students for their future careers.

Community service learning is provided to help students develop a sense of empathy for their community.

Counseling services and mental health programs are offered to build emotional resilience among students. The program encourages creativity and teamwork, allowing students to join a variety of clubs, sports programs, and arts initiatives for their mental development.

Recognizing that many students need additional resources to overcome barriers, efforts are made to ensure every student has the supplies necessary for success, including a complete education kit. Initiatives aim to help cover costs so that all students can participate fully.

Student achievements are celebrated through awards and events designed to motivate them to continue excelling.

• Schools are viewed as more than just places for learning. Students require more than just books and homework; they need robust support systems that prioritize both their academic and emotional well-being. Initiatives will be implemented at J.S. Clark Elementary School and Turner Elementary/Middle School to address these needs.

How to Become a Part of the Program?

The Minematters Foundation cannot achieve this mission alone. Support from businesses, organizations, and individuals who share this vision is essential. Here’s how to get involved:

• Financial contributions will help fund essential components of the program.
• Sponsorship of student recognition ceremonies and community service events is greatly appreciated.
• Donations of uniforms, books, or technology that are in high demand are welcome.
