US Programs
Minematters Foundation operates four active programs across the Dallas-Fort Worth area in Texas and in Shreveport and Bossier City, Louisiana, with expansion underway across the entire DFW metroplex.
ADOPT A SCHOOL INITIATIVE
Too many students walk into school carrying more than a backpack. They carry stress, uncertainty, and struggles no one talks about. The Adopt a School Initiative is Minematters Foundation’s commitment to changing that. Not with a one-time visit, but with a real ongoing partnership that shows up for students again and again.
What We Provide: Mental health workshops tailored to student age groups. Back-to-school supply drives and mid-year resource support. Student recognition programs and leadership opportunities. Access to external mental health resources and community partners. Ongoing engagement throughout the full school year.
Currently active in Shreveport and Bossier City, Louisiana. Expanding to DFW in 2026.
THRIVEWELL 360
Most programs teach students how to study. ThriveWell 360 teaches them how to live. This program brings together mental wellness and financial literacy for high school students and young adults ages 14 to 24. Because you cannot build financial stability without emotional stability.
Mental Wellness Track: Stress management, emotional awareness, healthy coping strategies, building confidence, communicating about mental health without shame.
Financial Literacy Track: Budgeting and saving basics, smart spending habits, understanding credit, planning for college and early career, making money decisions with confidence.
MOVE YOUR MIND
Move Your Mind is Minematters Foundation’s annual community wellness event bringing families, schools, first responders, and local organizations together through physical activity, connection, and a shared commitment to well-being. It is part fitness event, part community celebration, and part mental health awareness experience.
Past partners include Shreveport Police Department, Shreveport Fire Department, American Red Cross, Raising Cane’s, and Yokem Toyota. Move Your Mind is expanding to DFW in 2026.
